Has anyone had this problem? I have replaced the egr valve twice !!! Thinking that the new one was faulty, pcm has the latest calibration I have checked and smoke tested all pipes including PCV valve I'm going check wiring back to PCM tomorrow, map sensor readings are normal and so are maf.

It's on a 56 plate it stinks of diesel fumes out of the back too which made me think if the cooler was knackered it would only be getting water in there so ruled that out I also thought possible injector fault but that wouldn't explain the egr fault. Once it's warmed up with it's not to bad but still stutters on light throttle.

I've found that life I needed.. It's HERE!!
P1335: EGR position sensor minimum/maximum stop performance
Maybe it's not the valve that's the problem, but the sensor.
It could be a wiring problem.
Do you have Freeze Frame data for this DTC?

Well I checked the wiring back to the pcm and it was perfect then I remembered there wasn't any codes present with the original egr just it was staying open and choking it's self so I got a original equipment delphi unit and surprise surprise it was perfect no more codes coming back and drove perfect. So it's turned out to be a dodgy batch of beckerman egrs
