Can anyone help me Im trying to get a st170 running with original loom and Ecu I've got it to start but cuts out straight away any ideas

 

Is the fuel pump priming when you turn the ignition on?

 

The fuel pump is priming up

 

Check the pump stays running when cranking and when the engine is running, there is a fuel pressure sensor on the rail that isn't uncommon to fail, the pumps do fail on them too.


Have you checked for any fault codes?

 

I've got the engine out of the car with it all wired up to the original loom and Ecu will try and get it plugged in to see if it throws a fault up
