Question braided fuel pipe leak

hi all, only last year I got some braided fuel pipe off evilbay, i connected it between the pump and the metal pipe at the rear of the car, and also at the other end to the accumulator, the pipe has a big split somewhere in the middle of the braided pipe.
what fuel pipe do you guys use and where do you get it from. i realy don't want a fire when i finaly get this rs van on the road

You arent the first if that is the nitrile rubber with stainless overbraid.

There definitely do seem to be quality control issues with that particular style of hose.

The teflon should be fine though

If you want guaranteed quality, Earls, Aeroquip, Goodridge etc etc. All the usual big brand names.

And if the hose runs inside the car, it should be teflon anyway
