Hello
I am currently building a full group 4 specs Ford Escort Mk2. As the car will be only for rally racing ( gravel) I am thinkning of installing a Honda s2000 engine with its 6 speed gearbox. It is reliable 240 bhp high revving engine and cheap Any thoughts, ups and downs? Anything is should know or do before doing it. Anyone that has done it?

I bet there are a few on turbosport forum, the engine is good but makes its power high up the range. Personally I would go duratec as cheap and can make 300 bhp very easily. You vpcan buy brand new crate engines cheap and there is even a 2.3 van engine.
