Default s2 only running on 3

just started rs 2day after full engine rebuild.was runnin ok cold but dont
wana run when hot plus only on 3 cylinders.plugs r ok leads r ok.im not 2 clued up on the fuel side of things.any 1 got any advice 4 me.

Do a compression test first,all cylinder should be equal (+/- 5%)
Whilst its running pull a lead off(one at a time)and note the engine tone.The one that doesnt change the engine tone when you pull a lead off is the cylinder at fault.
Losing a cylinder could be down to faulty spark plug,faulty leads,rotor arm or dizzy.
If these are ok its probably not gettin fuel(or not enough,or bad spray).Could be an injector blocked or a metering unit fault.

were the plugs new,did you gap them correctly ??

plugs are new didnt gap them didnt think u had 2.i have found that it is cylinder 1 that is down.how do u no if its an injector.plus plugs were black think its runin 2 rich

Have you tried No1 plug in another cylinder, see if the misfire moves to that cylinder, this will eliminate the plug being at fault

generally all plugs that say there pre gapped need checking and re gapping ;)

also if running rich on that cylinder it points to poor spark. check gap and try again

plugs are ok leads are and injectors are to starting to think i got worped head.to be honest it was only on 2 half.gettin head checked 2moro 2 be on safe side.its runnin well rich.

found prob 7 bent valves.when i bought car bottom end was nakerd but the bloke said he had head rebuilt so i took his word bein a plank.problem solved hate people that lie.
