Hi can any one help,j reg xr4x4 can not get the alarm to disable try the n/s door works the central locking but not the alarm.got power at the coil and engine turns over, no spark at plug

Maybe the alarm switch at the door lock is not switching the alarm of when you turn the key. I would have a look inside the door. Is it both driver and passenger door that don't disengage the alarm?

[thanks I have tried both doors, led light stays flashing, engine turns over but no spark on plugs?

I think the alarm cuts the power to all engine electrics. And the fact the light keeps flashing means the alarm is still on.
