Default Camber & Castor Angles

Steering problem on 1996 Ford Escort RS2000 4x4, light and vague steering, told it was p/s pump or steering rack, then frony cross memberetc. As a after thought I took the car for a 4 wheel alignment, front pulling to left & rear pulling to right, camber angles out both front and rear. Now these are none adjustable that I found out, but a solution seems to be to buy adjustable lower arms, but who does them ?. There seems to be no logical reason why they are out apart from a very silly explanation, strengthing bar and or strut braces were at one time fitted and then removed, opinions ?. Got an old friend to check car for any sign of accident damage, none showing, paint thickness is to Fords spacification and no filler anywhere. Solutions ?, advice ? suggestions ?.
