Whats it called and where can i get it chaps? Im assuming its for strengthening the floor, its also on the dash. Its a black bitumen like substance, stuck direct to the steel. Some of it was missing/loose on my drivers side

 

sounds pads , or bitumen sound mats, for deadening noise, taking the tin sound away
I got mine from a place that sells supplies to the car prep and spraying shops
many motor factors will have them

 

cheers fella, i started taking the loose and blown bits up and got carried away, floor has a lot more movement in it when the black stuffs gone lol
