ive striped my car down to start to repare the body work whats the best way to remove the underseal is it hotair gun then wirebrush or is there something i can put on it to soften it up first

petrol softens it-but no matter what you use its very time consuming

I did mine with a hot air gun, then cleaned up with panel wipe!

mine didn't even budge with hot air gun or even blow lamp! I had to wire wheel on grinders drills whatever I could think of! takes ages! but well worth it!

had a go today with hot air gun once i got the the top layer soft it started to come of then it was wire brush on grinder did a couple of hours then gave up, thinking about getting it blasted of just in wheel arches and the underside going to look into that i dont wont the panels damaging
