Ford Escort 1600cc Zetec.
Hi can any one help with the following problem : Engine radiator fan not cutting in as engine temperature rises.
Short initial explanation :
1. Ford escort 1600cc. zetec engine. Reg "R" 1998.
2. Air conditioning fitted.
3. One cooling fan fitted.
4. Instrument panel. Temp. Gauge ok.
5. Engine Temp. Sensor 4 Pin changed for new one.
6. The only way to get the Radiator Fan to work is to switch on Air Conditioning then fan operates ????
7. Cooling fan relay and Fuse checked ok.
Wiring diagrams available in Haynes Manuals do not show where the two wiring system junctions of the two should occur.
Does any one have any Ideas on this problem. Lack of good wiring schematics
makes trouble shooting difficult, only had car for a short period of time.
