Changing the handbrake cable and how long will the it take normally? I'm gonna convert my rear drums to discs.

Thanks.

on most fords it's just a case of changing the cable as the caliper ones have hooks and the drum ones have tabs

but from the design of the caliper and the design of the cable it could have 2 separate cables which are easier to change than the one big long looping version

but it's not difficult

Most posts i've read say to buy a ST handbrake cable. Is that only necessary if i bought brakes from an ST or doesn't it matter if i just got brake set off a 2.0l focus? or are they the same?

From what I've read, the ST brake cable is different to the 2.0 focus brake cable as the ST one is slightly longer to accommodate the larger diameter disc.
