trying to find the engine code for my 1.25 fiesta (2000) big sticker on cam cover but two letters AB told it should be three letters is there anywhere else the number is marked. also informed it will sart with a D as its 1.25

 

1.25 had codes from '95-2002

DHA
DHB
DHC
DHD
DHF
DHG.

Differences are emission spec and later ones have no MAF sensor.

Can't think exactly where but there should be a flat machined part of the engine block on the gearbox end with the code stamped on it.
