I've got a Escort GTI and now and again the abs light stays on but after a while it woill turn of. Any ideas. cheers

 

Try cleaning the contact faces of the 4 sensors, dirt or corrosion sometimes causes them to mis-read the pickup

 

just had same prob with 3dr coscheck relays,fuses clean sensors and castle wheel that sensors count they sometimes get dirty if all that is fine check fluid and if problem persists check preasure reglator on ABS unit that was the problem mine had hope this is some help MICK
