Need help with the connections on a 2wd 90amp alternator, There are 4 connections. Being fitted into a mk2 Cortina not a cossy.

B+ large stud, assume connect to battery
D+ Medium stud, assume connected to loom
W small stud, ? Warning light at a guess
+ spade terminal, ?

Was planning on connecting the B+ to the starter supply wire to join the main battery cable, after that not sure what needs to be connected where.

 

Correct on the first one.

'D' is for the warning light.

Anyone got an idea on the other connections.

 

right fella the b+ is battery lead .the d+ is the warning light.the w is a rev counter take off .the + is for a radio surpressor

 

I have told you what you need, the other connections are not needed, you should really have a supressor though.
