Default Honing bores

When u do it is it best to use a lubricant (ooh er!!) and if so whats best?!
Bought a load of bits and got a honing tool as i might aswell hone the bores as im fitting new rings etc.

For boning whores i use KY as my lubricant.....

oh sorry - u mean honing bores??

IVE USED BRAKE FLUID BEFORE!(FOUND IT DOESN'T CLOGG THE STONES UP AS MUCH)

parafin is good for the job also cleans as you bore!!

what type of hone have you got ??

Parafin is a bit thin mix it 50/50 with engine oil this will stop the stones chattering in the bore.
