Hello,

The oil cap on my RS1600i rocker cover keeps leaking when it gets hot. I have tried 4 different types of oil cap, I have even filled the inside of the oil cap with silicon. There is no issue with the car otherwise.

Has anybody had this issue and solved it?

I was thinking about trying to fit an O-ring as it looks to me that the inside of the cap fills with oil and then leaks around the outside of the seal.

It is quite frustrating as it is leaking oil over the down pipe and the HT leads. I had no issues with the standard rocker cover, I switched to this one so that I could have AN fittings welded on.
