Lambda sensors ST170
HI all my friend has an ST170 with the usual lambda sensor issues. He has the new sensors ready to install.
My question is, are these particularly difficult to change? They don’t look their in the easiest positions to change them. Just wondering if anyone has any advice before I start.

New sensors? More than 1?
A Oxygen sensor can be defective, but all of them at the same time? Not likely.
What are the fault codes (including numbers if known)?

I cant recall the codes.
I understand it was diagnosed as the pre cat sensor, but to be safe he’s re-newing them both. Theres no harm in changing them both, especially seeing how prone they are to failing on this model.

Did you check the readings as a blocked filter, dodgy air mass, or even an after market filter can cause it to run rich/lean causing the lambda to throw up a code

Especially if you buy the parts from me.
I personally would donate the money to lets say the Internatial Red Cross.
