Hi guys little bit unsure of what i need for my fuel setup?
The car was a escort 1.3 carb so still has that fuel tank.
It will be fitted with a 2litre zetec turbo roughly 250bhp at start,but want to up the power in future.
It will just be used as a fun weekend car and rwyb days.

I was thinking i need-

Lift pump,swirl pot,bosch 044 pump,fuel tank,inline filter?

 

You have basically covered what's required.

Ideally you should filter the lift pump although if you use a Facet red too for example they do have a replaceable filter inside them.

Tank-lift pump-swirl pot-044 pump-engine

That correct? Do i have to use a different tank or can i run a lift pump from my standard tank?

 

Can i not just fit a 044 pump straight from my original carb tank then to the engine because idealy i dont want a big in car fuel setup?

 

No you can't as the tank has no internal swirl pot.

 

Ah i see ok,could i use a rs turbo tank and just external pump?
