Default S2 central locking

the central locking on my drivers door has stopped all together, the passengers door is fine. I have checked all multi plugs, when first checked there was power but when i rechecked there was no power at all!!!

any ideas what the prob is as it is doing my head in having to keep unlocking the door through the passenger side (cant use the lock as totally de-locked)

The central lock works by alternating positive and negative down the wires to the motor, if you connect a testlight across the wires on the motor and lock/unlock the passenger door the testlight should light up when doing so. If it doesnt you are looking at a wiring fault, if it does you need a new motor.
