the flexible one on a saph. cos

there's a clip mounted where the flexible hose goes onto the fuel return pipe (the one that goes underneath the car to the fueltank).

need to replace that clip but what should i use?
just a hose clip or should i order a genuine Ford one ?

Does it look like a round black plastic thing that does nost seem to have any logical means of removal (as per the 3 door)? I used a -6 hose finisher but put a jubilee clip on too just for good measure. this pipe split on me a few years ago & the engine bay was gutted, if in doubt , replace the length of flexi.

 

get one from fords, i have got a load of bits latley. You can see the counter staff faces drop when i come in with my list of little shitty bits. You will be suprised what they can still get hold of and at reasonable prices... sometimes

 

Niall.b, no, it doens't look like a round black plastic thing but it does have the most unlogical means to remove it. I'm not worried about removing that piece cause at such moments the Workshop manual comes in very handy

lamb chops, I know exactely what your saying mate, I've been that much @ my local dealership lately that the chief engineer gave me his mobile phonenumber. so I can order it when thinking of something.
