fiesta st sportex cat back help!!!
Iv just bought a 2005 fiesta st150. Needs some work done so picked it up pretty cheap
Does anyone have any experience with sportex cat back system (backbox and racetube) shown here :
http://www.sportex-exhausts.com/Perf...65/product/178
How easy do they fit?
Are there any performace gains?
Any drop in mpg or reliability?
Whats the warranty?
Are they very loud compared to standard/miltek/piper?
Doesnt look bad for £170. Im on a very tight budget so please no suggestions for miltek or anything like that
Any responses will be appreciated

hi there i had the jap slash cat back on both my fiesta mk5 1.25 didnt notice any gains but the mpg went down a little bit not loads and gained lots of noise, but after a year the race tube started to rust also had 1 for my focus mk1 1.8 got noticable power gain and noticable mpg dropped though this time i used a hoffman stainless steel racetube
have you searched flea bay got mine cheaper than the website both times.
and also they are direct replacements fit onto factory standard mounts.
heres a vid of my fiesta

thanks for reply. The one in your video does not seem too loud tbh, similar to miltek, piper ect.....whats the noise like when driving? want it to still be bearable on a journey and not be so loud so that im that idiot driving around making allot of noise.
also you said in the 1.8 focus it made a noticeable gain in performance so im assuming the bigger the engine the more itl benefit. K&N 57i i have fitted should help too
you said it made a noticeable drop in mpg. are we talking 2 or 3 mpg or a massive drop?
thanks again
