Ive just brought a pair of 9" spal fans but ive brought pullers, i know most fans can be reversed but spal states there only pullers, will they be any good as pushers by changing the direction or by flipping the blades? Or shell i just sell theses and get some pushers?

They will work as pushers but they'll be very inefficient. The blade aerodynamics are specific to pulling and pushing. I'd sell them on and buy pushers.

 

As above, yes you could reverse them but the blades are set at a certain angle of attack for best efficiency, if you reverse them it will have some effect but nothing like a fan designed for that direction.

 

Cheers chaps thought that would be the case, any questions where do you rekon is the best place to mount the fans, i was going to put them inbetween the rad and cooler but thinking it might be better for cooling to put rad and cooler close to gether and use pusher fixed to the front mount cooler and push the air through both or use pullers what do you in frpnt in the middle or behind?
