Hi guys, iv just done an efi conversion on my escort, the problem is when i accelerate and then change gear the revs take alot time to drop? also its very irratic idleing, hunting would be a better desciption?

someone must have an idea it idles high now also?

 

sounds like you have an air leak or suspect air flow meter

 

iv checked all hoses mate, air flow meter??????????

Ok can someone confirm this vacuum setup for me please!
To look at efi manifold the left hand side pipe goes to boost gauge!
Right hand side to map sensor!
Is this right??

 

If its air leak any ideas if vacuum or intercooler??

 

like said, air leaks will cause this, but ive had faulty TPS cause it too!
