the 2nd throttle on my xr2 isnt working and the car feels slow
can anybody help me with what can cause this and what i can do to fix it??

i dont fully uderstand what causes it to open

what carb is it? if it is the round top tld carb found on later xr2s then take off the vacuum unit. (this it what pulls the choke open) it is the round thing on the front of the carb i think it says weber on it. open it up and check the diaphragm for holes. if no holes check vacuum passage on the piece you have removed and the corrosponding passage on the carb.
