Just purchased a Mk2 1600 sport. Both front doors are rotten at the bottom are theys repairable? If i was to re skin them would this eliminate this? also after forest arches best place to get these? Iv decided on alloy ones but what are peoples thought on fibreglass ones? Any one know some one whos breaking one? i know these are hard to find ect just thought id try on here!

you can get grp 4 arches on ebay my arches are fibre glass as is front spoiler much cheaper than alloy look good once painted

 

They probably can be repaired, seen pics on here of door bottoms being done, cut out whats rotten, weld new metal in any half decent bodyshop should be able to do it. They may be getting on a touch, but there are loads of parts out there for them.
