Ford focus additive pump
Hi guys, the MIL light came up on on my 2006 focus 1.6 tdci and I've got the error codes:
P1928- Additive supply open circuit
P1931- Additive supply pump short circuit
P2584- Fuel additive control codule requests MIL illumination
P0299- Turbo underboost condition
The garage thinks that the pump in the fuel additive has broken and the whole module will need replacing. Does anyone know what sort of cost would be involved in this? As its now done over 100,000 mile (still on its original DPF) now I'm thinking it could be time to just remove the DPF and get it mapped out but would the codes relating to the pump still show up? What do you think?
Thanks
