Default intercooler or chargecooler....which is best???

For a car with a small frontal area and little air flow ability what would be best?

yesterday i was out in the nice sunshine and my Act's were as high as 50 and it wasn't even that hot yesterday.....

So was wondering would a chargecooler work any better than the sapph 4x4 intercooler im using?

Any thoughts....

up early this morning aren't you cosrush? i have a rush cossie as well (4wd). last year used a 2wd interccoler with water shroud around and pumped coolant through a mini heater matrix at the front. monitored charge temp last year on a day of 32c and charge temp was 40C @ 24psi boost. other colder days it didn't rise more than 5c more than ambient. ironically, this year was going to try a 'normal' 4wd cooler in my rush but may not bother now or will shroud 4wd one (more coling area). using a 4x4 cooler on 4wd rush causes other problems though!

email if yoiu want more details / pics etc.

pqt,

Thanks for the reply.

Ive got a 16 month old son and a 5 month old son, so everyday is an early one

I would be interested in some more info on your mod to the intercooler.
especially if you have pictures of it.

How did the mod compare to standard?

Cheers
