i got myself this escort mk1 13gt and should start or continue restoring it soon...

my plans are to install an anti dive kit and double width clamps, radius arms, and turret kit to get the rear shocks straight bigger front brakes and rear disks and either a 2.0l pinto or a 1.6 zetec se engine.

the body has already been stripped down sanded had rust cut and sprayed in undercoat apart from some small areas where the job was rushed it s in good shape

so should i buy and weld the parts that need welding these are underneath or finish the exterior part body first? I have a car rotator available so working on the underside shouldn t be a problem

 

i'd leave the upper body work till last.
