Default 24v boa wiring into sierra

I was wondering if I could get a definitive answer for wiring up the 24v boa into a sierra as all I have found is check wiring diagrams etc..
My understanding from asking a few mates is that the boa engine loom fits straight in without needing to cut any wires (take from p/s down chassis leg, around headlight panel and back up d/s chassis leg for rest of plugs)
I was told then that there are only 9 wires needing wired up which I so far have narrowed down to live, earth, oil light, battery light, temp hand and rev hand.
Can anyone give me any guidance on this whether I am on the right lines and what else has to be wired?
I want as much info as possible before I set the engine in,
Thanks for any help and hopefully I am making sense
