Help, list of parts needed for conversion from carbs to turbo MK3 escort
I have a few ideas that I want to run past my brother who has a MK3 escort running a 1.8 zetec on carbs at the moment, it has blown a head gasket and is lying unloved right now.
Now he fancied a bit more power so I am sure I could collect all the parts necessary for a low cost turbo conversion for around £5-600 all in if I do most of the work myself. It wont have forged internals or any fancy ECU so just the basic to run around 200-220bhp, without going back to CVH.
So list so far...
OFAB ECU and loom from FRST
T3 turbo from S2(already sourced a good one)
S2 exhaust manifold
RST downpipe
RS1800 inlet(I know where one is so can get it cheap)
RST Intercooler of some sort
De-comp plate and new gaskets
Oil feed and return pipes
New tank and fuel pump
Now can anyone help with the rest, i.e what injectors would suit and how easy would it be to fit the OFAB ECU and wiring into the car loom etc?
Thanks in advance.

i dont know a lot about turbo's , but they have a lower compression and dont like old knacked engines, it will save u a lot of trouble,if you go down the road of a zvh turbo as wiring loom will fit with all parts of rst 1 and 2
