hi to everyone i am new to thins site as i have just bought my first ford a mk3 fiesta 1.1. was wondering if any one could help me with wiring a 1.8 zetec engine in from a ford escort my car is a m reg and the escort is r reg can any one help with wiring diagrams.
i know that i can run it off the fiesta loom if i run it on carbs but would much rather run it standard can you help please

can you take the engine wiring loom and ECU from the donor car? if you can it makes much, much more easy! basically you transfer them both together and "tidy up" round the edges splicing it into your existing wiring!

you WILL also need sort out a new FUEL PUMP! as the fuel system will need an electric fuel pump to drive the injectors!

Then you will have to sort out appropriate mounts for the engine!
