hi can anyone help rebuilding mk1 escort bubble arch bought a rs 2000 propshaft 2 piece fits type 9 gearbox bolts on to car but the last bit is about an inch to long think i have been had it must be a capri propshaft can i cut it and weld it back together would that be strong enough to hold thanks for your help

 

it has been done but may need rebalencing
