When driving back from Blackpool to London yesterday, car started to judder and then I lost all power and had to pull into the hard shoulder on the M25.
Had similar issue a few months ago and fault code pointed to fuel pressure sensor, fitted another fuel rail and has been fine since. Called AA out and no fault code this time, car fired up ok after being idle for about 45 mins and managed to drive home ok with AA following me in case it conked out again. Has anyone come across this type of thing before?
New crank sensor was fitted last year due to similar issue. Also these things tend to happen in hotter weather, no problem in winter/spring when nice and cool, any thoughts greatly appreciated!
Car is a MK1, 52 plate with only 57k on the clock, had it 4 years with no other issues.
