Default mk4 escort bonus w/rs turbo engine exhaust help?

Hello there,

This is my first escort i've just bought, and I'm really liking the idea of a sleeper. My issue is that unfortunately someone had gotten hold of the car before me and put some halfords alloys on it, various stickers all over the car and a great big exhaust on it.

I've managed to remove everything untoward from the car, by putting the orange indicators back on, some mondeo steels, etc but my problem which is giving the game away is that it has a 3" stainless steel scorpion exhaust with a great big 4" rear silencer.

The car has a straight through heat wrapped stainless exhaust all the way through, but I'm looking for something a bit more subtle at the back. Is there any way I can fit a 'standard-looking' exhaust in place of the silencer without sacrificing too much air flow and the car's performance?

Thanks in advance.

So do you think I'd be able to attach a standard back box to the centre section of the scorpion exhaust?

i'd replace the whole thing, you could probably swap it costing nothing if you're lucky.
