I read a few articles that said unplugging negative side of battery for half an hour should reset the EML but that didnt work for me, any ideas? i have ODB scanner but it doesnt seem to be clearing the codes.

First question to ask is why is it on?? Have you read the fault codes or is it simply a decat issue?
In either case pulling fuse 26 for 30 mins or so will clear it but with a decat it will be back

RichieST, I havent got a new sensor yet. I was trying to clear the codes so i could fit a new coil and see if that was causing the sensor issue. also was going to unplugg one of the sensors to see if i had the right one.
