Ford Focus 1.8l Diesel 2000 LX TDDI (90) 1753cc - Glow Plug Light
Hi All,
I hope someone can help me!
I recently bought this car and I am already having trouble with it!
I'm getting a problem where I'm driving along, when the glow plug light flicks on and the engine cuts out and I have to pull over. If I turn off the engine and restart it, it goes with no trouble and will carry on driving fine. I cant find a way to 'reset' it while still in motion.
My brother in law used to be a mechanic and still has his diagnostic equipment so he plugged it in, but it didnt bring up any error codes and he didnt have time to have a proper look.
Otherwise, the car drives fine, there's no problems with anything else. It seems to mainly happen when I'm slowing down. It's probably worth mentioning that since I passed my driving test, I have been driving automatics and this is the first manual car I have ever had, so I'm probably changing up/down a little too quickly or slowly.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
