Default cvh rattle on start up

does everyone elses cvh rattle when you start it up on the morning?
it takes a few second for oil light to go out and the followers rattle until presure comes on oil gauge.
after this its really qiuet and has good oil presure and no rattles.
would like to know what other peoples do please
thanks

Mine rattles mate for around 2 seconds. Had the followers changed last time and it was fine and now 6000 miles later its started to do it again. Doesnt bother me though and my oil light goes off after around a second.

Try a different oil.
I personally prefer Silkolene Pro S 10w50 for these.

cheers stu
ive been running gastrol rs10/60 for the last few oil changes now and when cold and warm oil presure is fine and no nasty noises, but this is starting to worry me
ive thought about dropping sump to check big end brgs.
after been up at your place last time and Kenny said missfire may be down to cam and i just dont want to fit a new cam if its going to wear out dead quick
thanks
Dave

RS 10w 60 is KNOWN to sometimes cause lazy followers in my experience, and not just in CVH's.

Try a different oil
