hi guys got a 1990 4x4 with l8 ecu 330 set-up just been restored but fails to start it has no power to the fuel pump and no spark any ideas checked that the wiring to pumps fine and checked pump works with seperate power supply also have a power supply to the coil bit stumped really thought it might have been either the immob or alarm fault but isolated each one and still nothing is there anything in between the ignition and ecu that might stop both items?

 

From my research over the years on PF it sounds like it maybe a crank sensor problem . Have a search on here if needed as its a commonly discussed issue.
A re-wire of the fuel pump is a popular mod if not already done.

 

Start by looking at your CPS and that the ECU has power.

The coil has an independent switched feed, hence that has power.
