Default help me upgrade my courier

hay all completely new to all this also this is my first diesel and first turbo vehicle and I'm no master mechanic but will have a bash ......

its a 52 reg and i think by looking at my engine its a 1.8 endura di

i am looking for any modifications that i can add or do to the engine, its the non intercooler version and I'm looking for upgrades to make it have some balls to go with the street look its got now put it one way it stands out ...

i was wondering if you can fit an intercooler to this engine at all since its got non to start with would love a front mounted one and a serious turbo but wan a gradually get there so I'm looking for anything i can do now to it ...

I've fitted a boost gauge to it again not sure if its connected to the right pipe but it seems to be working fine ... its giving a reading of 12-13psi I've read that there able to take up to 18 psi no problem with out doing much internal mods...

also I've read that you can decat the exhaust might be a daft question but how if you do this will it pass an mot, would it not fail an emissions test...

again anyone who's worked on this engine and modified it any tweaks at all i just want something with some balls

all so i know half of you slate them but you prob all had one at some stage I'm wanting to fit a blow of valve mainly for the look I'm going for with the van ...

pictures or videos showing how to complete any modifications is what I'm after or detailed instructions

cheers all ill leave you with your knowledge to enlighten me
