Default Ford Focus stereo size

I have been looking at buying a JVC KW xr811 stereo which is double din for my Ford Focus mk2. Now I have read somewhere that the current ford stereo thats in (6000cd standard model) is actually not standard size for double din so it may not fit at all. Is this right that Ford dont use standard size double din stereos?

You can purchase a double din conversion kit including fascia , ariel adapter , stalk control loom and main looms for @ £45
Its an easy job to do.

Thanks pal much appreciated, I shall investigate more. I have no idea about how to do any of this so any other advice would be greatly received.

My standard ford sat nav unit is bigger than double din so it should fit in the hole in the dash ok with an adapter plate.
