Default sierra sapphire chain or cambelt??

hi all might be a bit thick now but i think my engine is chain driven am i correct???

also whats the pros and cons of cambelt and timing chain???

that engine has a chain, should last the lifetime of the engine

back in the day belts were fitted as they were quieter/easier to fit now chains can be just as good hence reverting back to chains
