Default Mondeo TDCI Problem, please help!

I have a Mondeo 2.0 TDCI 130 Ghia x on an 02 plate. About a year ago it started playing up, accelerating in 3rd or 4th, around 2700 revs, the coil light would come on and the car would go into limp home mode. The car would be turned off, then on, the problem would clear. this would happen maybe once or twice a month. Gradually it got worse, nearly every time i went out in it the light would flash, into limp home mode(untill switched off) and occationally it started cutting out about 10 seconds later. It went into a Ford garage who over three visits put a new fuel filter on, retuned the injectors and on the third visit claimed i wanted a new fuel pump costing £1400+. Those three visits cost me over £300. The car was still shit. Next another garage had it for a couple of weeks on and off. Retuned the injectors put a new sensor on the end of the injectors, changed around some sensors. Was charged over £300, car still shit. Last week went into another garage, several computer checks, injectors checked on machine and all running well. Cost £240, car still shit but has bad knocking/ rattle when accelerrating. Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
