cossy wiring

Default cossy wiring

got an escos wiring loom but the plug for the amal valve is missing, got a brown wire and a black/yellow wire, which goes to which side of the valve or doesn't it matter

are u sure u have the right colours for the amal valve the amal valve wire colours for a 93/93 ecos should be black and red, brown and yellow
acording to the wireing diagram i,m looking at
the only black and yellow wire i can see goes to the ignition module and also a wire to the insturment cluster,there does not appear to be any wire even going to the ecu with that colour code

Is it for a small turbo escort?

Usually the solid colour goes to to +12V and the striped wire goes to the ecu.

Fiesta turbo amal valves have a diode in them so they will only work one way, you could test the valve off the car to check it before commiting yourself.

sorry my mistake, it's an escos engine loom and 4x4 sierra ecu loom
