Default pinto turbo?

whats all involved to turbo a 1.6 pinto in a sierra? wiring, manifolds etc....

cant change the engine for insurance reasons so trying to make it as powerful as possible

Surly putting a 2.0 or a 2.1 in it will be the same if not less than modifying it and insuring it as a turbo conversion.

i wouldnt declare it... the police tend to pull the bonnets over here and it would be better than having a 2.0 or 2.1 i think..

its not set in stone just wondering what it would involve all....

i know it would be easier dropping a 2.0 in..... just looking at my options.

if the police pull your bonnet and see a turbo, your still fucked anyway?

stick a 2ltr pinto in, no real visual difference

Totally they wouldn't know unless they really looked right into it. They'd certainly se a turbo sitting there.
Iam also sure You would need to put an efi onto your engine too to be able to turbo it. And not sure you can get an efi 1600

stick a pinto in an a set of 40's, 45's or 48's on

i have a 2ltr pinto runnin 40's, head skimmed and an cam with full ashley s/s system
