Hi!

I would like to tune my 1.8 Zetec RDA 105ps silvertop engine. Have read many threads and posts but havent found any answer that give the whole picture and are shared by others. I'm pending between tuning the 1.8 silvertop or putting the 2.0 zetec in the Escort.

Can I use the 2.0 silvertop cams from the Mondeo?
Do I need the throttle body from Mondeo? Will it fit? What do I need to make it fit?
Do I need the 2.0 MAF? And will it fit? What do I need to make it fit?
Do I need to change the ECU? Should I take it from the Mondeo

If I take the 2.0 Mondeo engine and put it in the Escort. What do i need to keep? What do i need to mod or change?

Hope someone feels that they would like to list all, or as much as they know, the things that I need to know.

buy a full running donor car then you will have all you need and save loads of time and money then scrap the leftovers to get some cash back

The mechanic that will do this has a Mondeo with a 2.0 silvertop engine so i have a donor car and can take what I want but the questions are: will it be problems with the cabels/electrics? Do I need to take the ECU from the mondeo? Do I need to take the waterpump from my engine? will the engine mounts fit bolt on etc etc.
