got a issue iv changed my tappets as my car was tapping and was told needed new ones so i did , issue still here a little quiter. when on tick over its great sound sweet as a nut but once driving it starts tapping probly a easy fix just me being daft

any help will be great guys

 

In all honesty it could be anything top end related without hearing/seeing it.

 

Could also be a piston wearing and sing sideways under load known as piston slap, I had that problem, it's when the piston skirt starts to collapse and moves at tdc

 

is it an rs turbo? if so pointless changing tappets without changing the cam as well they will both be equally knackered usually
