Hi guys,

Have a Mk4 '98 Fiesta (No C/L) There's 3 different keys, one for ignition, one for the front doors and one for the boot.


The one for the ignition is a red top key and is very worn, have been quoted €100 by Ford to cut and code a new key for this.

Anybody know what my best bet to solve the problem is? If I get a complete lock set from a similar Fiesta would that work?

To be honest the 3 keys don't bother me but if their was a simple solution in would be nice, it's the ignition key I'm worried about incase it snaps.

I have the key code by the way.
