No I think the trailing arms on 2WD models, i.e. 3DR and Saph are different due to the lower ride height. 4x4 I believe may be the same.

I think there are actually two types and the one I mention above alters the track as well.

4x4 are the same as what?, iv got complete rear ends off 2wd and 4wn, im trying to make the best of the 2, so i want the 4wd rear wishbones/trailing arms in the 2wd beam. its for a 2wd saph. but if there different then i cant use them.
thanks for your reply

I believe there is a difference, but not to do with ride height, best to give 'a rs licker' a PM on here.

4x4 Cosworth was the same rear end as lesser models, I am sure I am right in saying the trailing arms were as well, in which case you can't use the 4x4 arms in the 2WD car as these were unique to suit the lower ride height so far as I know.

Incidentally if you diden't know the 2WD beam is also unique and different from the rest of the range!

Saff 2wd, Saff4x4 and Escos trailing arms are the same. Only odd ones are 3door ones which have anti roll bar pick up points in a different place.

For the ride height indirectly, I am sure it alters the camber/track as I say to suit the lower ride height.

This rings a bell now you mention it, hasen't it got something to do with the mounting point being 'inboard'?

Do get the xr4x4 ones mixed up either. I fitted a beam that turned out to have a cosworth arm one side and an xr the other. Camber and toe both different
