going down

Going down motorway and my speed counter went from 70 to 0 and back up why would it do that its the first time its ever done that

Focus 1.6 on a Y plate what other problems do you get from the vss when it goes down if any one nos at all plz would it make the car hunt at all

if your car has auto volume your stereo will go quieter. Few other things. just done my uncles w reg focus. Fixed it no probs since

Iv got a different sterio in the car so it doesnt do that im just fed up with it having problems already not even own it long its a money pit well badly

its the vehicle speed sensor. mine did it too. same car. common problem on them. cheap enough to get a sensor off ebay but a bit of a sod to fit apparently
