Hello all does anyone know how to remove the fuel tank from a 1990 (g) p100, do you need to remove the rear tub to get it off or can it be removed without touching the tub???????
I am changing from a diesel engine to a petrol pinto engine are all the tanks the same or do they differ from diesel and petrol models???
THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP

At the risk of being completely useless, the Haynes comic has the answer to removing the tank.
Is it an EFI Pinto you're using? Even if you're not, I reckon you'll need the loom as the engine loom's integrated with the main loom.

bit late but the diesel box is a V6 box and wont fit the pinto without cutting the inpust shaft down and even then you need to change the B/H to a petrol one or the starter wount engauge the ringear
